About DayOne
DayOne brings contractors and manpower corporations together in one place: from the request for workers, through the signed work order and each day's hours, to the invoice at the end of the month.
What DayOne is for
Six processes contractors and corporations do together, in one place.
Joining
Corporations and contractors register, and DayOne checks each company before it opens for work. Workers get an invitation on their phone.
Requests and candidates
The contractor asks for workers, and the corporations he works with propose free workers.
Placements and work orders
A work order signed from the phone, and the worker accepts each job himself.
From hours to invoice
Clocking in and out on the phone, the site's morning list, hours approval and a monthly invoice.
Moves between corporations
A worker moves to another corporation with his consent, and the Population Authority forms come ready.
Free workers
A list of the workers waiting for a placement, and what the waiting costs.
How we built it
The worker decides for himself
He accepts each job offer, confirms each day's hours and consents to every move. A corporation cannot block a move.
Each side sees only its own
A contractor never sees a worker's personal details, and the corporation manager sees who viewed his workers.
Built for the field
The worker's and the site manager's screens are made for the phone, with big buttons, and keep working without reception.
